The incident resulted in the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

Two men have been charged in connection with a luggage theft where a suspected pepper spray caused injuries at the UK's busiest airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, have both been charged with two counts of robbery and two counts of administering a noxious substance, according to official statements.

These accusations come after an investigation into an attack at the parking structure at Heathrow's Terminal Three on the weekend. Before the assault occurred, two women were robbed of their suitcases taken after exiting a parking garage elevator, authorities reported.

A three-year-old girl was caught up in the incident during the incident. Several persons required hospital care and were subsequently released.

This event – described by police as was isolated and not considered a terror-related act – resulted in disruptions to rail services and the temporary blocking of the main airport road tunnel and the T3 parking area for a limited duration.
