British boxer Anthony Joshua Discharged from Medical Facility in Lagos Following Fatal Car Crash

Former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has been discharged from hospital, local government spokespeople confirmed on late Wednesday. The fighter was caught in a vehicular crash outside Lagos on Monday, a tragic incident that resulted in the deaths of two of his valued colleagues.

Healing from Light Wounds

The boxer had been under observation while recovering from minor injuries, representatives stated earlier on Monday. The Lagos state commissioner for information, Gbenga Omotoso, announced via a post online that Joshua was declared medically stable to continue his recovery at home.

“Joshua and his mother were at the mortuary in Lagos this afternoon to offer their condolences to his two departed friends as they were being made ready for the journey back,” the commissioner stated.

Remembering the Victims

The two men who died were named as Latif Ayodele, Joshua's trainer, and Sina Ghami, a strength and conditioning coach. The official further stated that the athlete was heartbroken and full of emotions over the tragic loss of his two trusted companions.”

The news of his discharge comes as the boxing community shared its support for the star in the wake of the heartbreaking incident.
